The Margate Tavern is a friendly bar with gaming facilities including tote and keno, as well as bar meals which will be commencing mid March 2013.
The bar is open 7 days a week and offers the following;
Every day drink specials which currently include; - $5 schooners or 2 for $9 & $14 jugs on Saturdays.
Happy hour 5pm-6pm Friday and Saturday
A weekly footy tipping competition which includes a $10 upfront entry fee and $2 per round commencing round 1 of the afl footy season.
A Friday night meat raffle drawn at 6pm with tickets being sold during happy hour. Prizes include 3 meat trays and a carton of beer.
A Saturday tote Melbourne racing tipping competition with a $2 entry fee.
A Sunday 8 ball Calcutta with $5 entry and a meat raffle which is a run by our local darts and 8 ball club.
